Interview Questions

  • How does the labeling of GMO's directly affect you and the community you live in?
  • Who do you think will be most impacted by this new bill in Vermont?
  • Do you think that the GMO labeling is more helpful or harmful to farming communities in Vermont?
  • Do you think Vermont will kick start an initiative that will spread across the United States?
  • Will the labeling of GMO's affect how you buy your food and what brands you decide to buy?
  • Do you think that Vermont agriculture and economy will be directly impacted by this? For example, many people like to buy locally, but if local farmers use GMO's and people don't want to buy that, farmers will be forced to try and switch seeds so that they can accomodate the desires of the buyers. But if these non-GMO seeds cannot withstand the weather like the GMO seeds can, do you think it will be more harmful for the farmers?
